Would it be worth emailing the CHC to raise the concern that not enough time is being allowed to gather all the relevant evidence of your mums needs from those involved with her health and social care and that you feel it will negatively impact on your mum receiving a full, fair and proper MDT. They may well come back and say it will be months before another MDT can be arranged so like it or lump it, but at least you will have your concerns and their response in writing should you need to appeal at a later stage.

I think I will put something in writing as they emailed me the results of the DST, at the top it says
“Self funding/D2A “
So think that will actually influence the decision along with the comments already said by the yet to be met social workers.

Hi Sue31. Hope your meeting went ok.
There are legal firms who can help you through the fog regarding funding, houses being sold, finances etc.
I was told by one of them that assessments for Health funding (CHC) can take up to 6 months and they are rare to gain. But there is a health top up funding around £218.00 per week, that can be provided, on top of social care funding, if a person needs care worker support, plus nursing care support.
Most firms are happy to have a chat over the phone to give you initial advice. It may be useful to ring one, with regards to your mums part owned house. Or to call the Age UK specialist phone line. They have really useful documents to read. They will post you hard copies if needed.
Fingers crossed the meeting went ok.
Your mum is so lucky having you fight her corner.

Just an add on...these are one of companies that help with CHC funding. They give initial free advice, but i think they charge after that. Not sure of costs.
I accidentally emailed them, but even then they were very helpful and sent through some useful documents that explained the processes around CHC funding.
