I'm so sorry for your loss @Auroa.. Your circumstances are just heartbreaking. I'm glad you and your daughters were present with your husband when he passed away.

I hope you are able to build up your own strength now - and please keep coming to this forum for support.

Hi @Auroa - sorry to read your post. I hope you got to the bottom of what was wrong with your OH and why he was in such poor condition at the time of the hospital admission.
Your OH is at peace.

I’m finding it really difficult without my OH. It is so hard to come to terms with that he has passed even though he was not at home with me for the last 6 months of his life. I never imagined that he would be gone in such a short time. My heart is broken, my motivation is gone and I really don’t know how I am feeling, other than alone.

@Auroa, I wish I could take this pain away for you. Caring for a loved one takes everything you have to give and when it’s ends it leaves such a huge hole to fill. You did so much for your husband and now you need time to process everything. Be gentle with yourself . X
