Symptoms of early dementia

My Mum was diagnosed less than a year ago and has been not to bad except for short term memory. Lately though she has got it in her head that my house that I have owned for 20years is her house and she is demanding work needs to be done on it or it is going to fall down. She is telling people myself and my husband are bullying her and I get paid to care for her but she does all the house work.
I am finding it very difficult to deal with as I can not pacify her when she gets angry about it.
Is this Mum moving onto the next stage or?
Just feeling a bit lost at the moment

Many of us are accused of stealing, poisoning, attempted murder to name but a few. It is a part of the condition and very hard to deal with.
