My mom unfortunately fell down some stairs last Saturday, she went into hospital for a few days and thankfully everything was ok but its been over a week and she is still complaining about the pain but my worrying concern is she is not really eating. Before this happened she had a great appetite and was still always having biscuits, cakes etc.. Now its like someone has turned everything off. When we went out saturday she only had half a panini. I do give her the fortisip drinks but this is a very radical change.
Can anyone help or advise please, thank you.

I’m so sorry to read about your mum. It must be really worrying for you. It might be an idea to have a chat with your mum’s GP about this change. They might be able to refer her to a dietician. There might be something of interest in this link -

I should imagine that the fall was a huge shock to your mom and it will take a while for her to get over it
