Yesterday morning at 2.15 my darling dad passed peacefully. My husband and I were with him and held his hand as he took his last breath.

He had been taken into hospital and he had pneumonia.

The team at the hospital were so, so kind. They even moved us to a private room so that he could pass peacefully.

I know I have a long road in front of me, which at the moment I am trying to fill with his life admin! I'm discovering things I never knew and with each page turned there is a smile, to see his handwriting and he even has things with my mums writing.
