Hello it is Russell Grant here
Hi Russell welcome to TP from a fellow aquarian
Can I extend you a very warm welcome! Thanks for being here.
Hi Russell, welcome to Talking Point. Hope you`ve got your charts with you to forecast the future. Mind you, we only have the Date of birth, but I don`t think we`ve got the time.
Warmest welcome Russell. Thank you for coming along, and so helping to raise the profile of Alzheimers, and Talking Point.
Welcome to TP.
This is a wonderful forum, a real lifeline for so many of us.
Can you tell us what your interest is in AD?
I am a wee bit lost with the technology
Hello Hazel, I was a carer for around 9 years. My lovely nan had AD and in the end went totally mute with the awful thing it is
Glad that you can be with us.
talking point is one big family supporting each other.
I think we may have to adopt you!!!
That's a good first step - you are in good company!
just ask if you need to know how to do something.
Where are you at present?
Since then I have dedicated myself to fundraising to help aid research to find a cure
Hello Russell, thanks for joining us! Deborah
I am in Snowdonia, where I live
Your nan was very lucky to have you around, Russell
Have you used or visited Talking Point before?
sure I speak for everyone here in giving you a bit hearty welcome. Thanks for taking the time to join us
This is one of the warmest and friendliest places I've seen on the web and I hope you pick up on the aura
Do you mind me asking you a question:
How do you think dementia has changed your life. I asked as it dramatically changed mine and my whole outlook on life.
That's brilliant, Russell. We're all very grateful, Although a cure now will probably be too late for our loved ones, it's so important thast the work goes on.
The technology seems overwhelmed. So many people logged in just for you, I was unable to post.
How do you conduct your fundraising?
Hello Russell and welcome to TP!
I too am in North Wales bit chilly here this afternoon.
Thank you for your support at the rally.
Don't worry about the technology, you just post a message, and someone will argue, or send you a big hug, depending!
