i would always keep the letter with me even before dementia. he would lose everything. now, he would be hopeless.
I have always kept bills, referrals, appointment cards etc in the diary stapled on to the date page of when something is due to be paid or needed for appointments etc. He has always been good about getting his INR book out ready for his next test and putting it out in the usual place and this really was something new.

I think his reaction was the thing that got to me, that complete denial about moving the letter and the not understanding why I was so cross. That of course is nothing new, just that I suppose this was another signal that the downhill slope was getting steeper.
