I went to the hospital and saw the mental health nurse and she advised me an assessment has been done and my step mother qualifies for NHS funding,
She did however state that the number of homes which can have her is very limited due to behaviour problems.
She said 3 months funding will be initially granted and another assessment should be done after 3 months but she said the assessments are taking nearer to 5 months to get around to.
She said NHS funding will then continue for another 3 months even if she not qualify but the nurse has said my step mother is unlikely to live much in to 2018.
When I was walking out I was approached by the social worker and she was annoyed as this was going to cost the NHS a lot of money.
She again said I should sell the bungalow but I told the social worker to sell her house and pay the fees if she was that worried about it.
