My name is Alan and I am caring for my wife (J) aged 62 who was diagnosed with early onset of Alzheimer's approx. 2 years ago. In that time she has spent 3 long periods in hospital with psychosis and attempts to stabiles her drug treatments.
As a family we now recognise that J was showing symptoms for around 8 to 10 years but I guess with busy lives we didn't identify the symptoms and the swings in mood.
It would be great to be able to talk with people in similar situations and share some of the highs and lows with this terrible disease with people who understand.
