My replies to private messages aren't in my sent items and getting through?

I've tried a few times now to reply to Sue38 and the other messages through the private messages but they don't seem to be getting through and aren't in my sent items? It says 0 messages in the folder.

Well the reason they aren't in your sent folder is that I'm willing to bet your settings in your profile are set to don't save sent PMs.

Go to My Profile and choose the Settings drop down.


Go to General Settings

Then scroll down to Private Message settings and make sure it's set like this



Then makes sure you press Save Changes right at the bottom of the screen (you'll have to scroll down.

Thanks got it now and I've sent the same message again which is now in the sent folder.
