Hi thanks for letting me join , my dad was diagnosed with LBD just over 2 years ago . With me he has 4 sons. Only 3 of us try our best to look after him , the fourth one is totally not interested. Our dad falls out with us who help on a regular basis. The one who doesn’t help he never falls out with him .

Hi

My Dad has LBD also, it can be really tricky because mental capacity can be zero one minute and then almost perfect the next so in my experience it adds more challenge to the situation and can cause aggro, sometimes as a carer/family support you think you are going mad.

This forum is full of tales of useless siblings and how its the ones who help who get the grief.

Welcome @Alex66

I`m afraid your story is typical and no one has an explanation for this.

You are lucky to have two brothers in the same boat. Many single carers have no sibling support. They get all the criticism and the so called `invisibles` are the golden people.
