My husband is in a nursing home and has delirium but other times he can hold a normal conversation
It very much depends on the topic
He hasn’t been diagnosed with dementia but he will be tested when he’s made his way up the waiting list
So have we still got time to set up a power of attorney? He does understand what it is and is in favour
What do you think ?
Would be glad of advice please

As long as a suitable qualified person on the day determines he has then yes, but as a resident in a nursing home rather than a care home, it can be done and pre diagnosis I wouldn't hang around, get it done now. K
