My mum is 94 and has vascular dementia. My husband and I have been caring for her at home for 12 years. She is completely dependent and rarely opens her eyes or speaks. But she is still the good person she has always been❤️

Wow, 12 years, well done to you both. Just lost my mam a few weeks ago (probably with hypoxia,was very poorly last 6 months) and I really miss her. She was a kind soul too. Welcome x
