My partner is now finding it impossible to get into the car. I don't think she can remember what to do with her legs to get in. As we live in the country this will be very difficult. I am going to try a revolving car cushion seat. Has anyone else encountered this?

It was next to
Impossible to get my Mum into a car. Recently I went in a car as a passenger and the seat had a revolving cushion on it the lady used for her husband (Parkinson’s and dementia), it was great and I wished I’d known when my Mum was alive. I used to use a plastic bag and try and pull/push her round. It was a very traumatic experience for us both (and my back - probably hers too). I also used to put the seat back down loads as her position of choice was to ‘recline’.

Michael, you might have tried this already but can your partner stand with her back to the car, then sit down onto the seat and then turn (with the turntable to help) and move her legs in? Have the seat pushed back as far as it will go.
