That is pretty sensible and fair minded of you. Different colours or shades certainly help to make the toilet seat or the sink stand out. People with dementia have trouble with special awareness, my partner certainly does, and little things like that doe help.

One that can be unlocked from the outside so the person with dementia can’t lock themselves in. Plenty of room in the cubicle for a Carer if they need help. Old fashioned soap on the sink, mum doesn’t recognise liquid soap or can’t coordinate pressing it and holding her hand out at the same time. No sink plugs = no floods! Mixer tap so no burns.
