In the not too distant future I shall be having a cornea transplant and as my OH carer I need to arrange respite care for him. It appears I need one week of lots of rest after the op and was wondering if anyone has faced similar circumstances and if respite for both of us would be the best solution. My hubby is in mid stage, and needs help and 24 hour attendance.

Hello unsinkable welcome to TP, my hubby is in a Care Home, there is a married couple who are staying in the home, his wife has Alzheimers, he has a terminal illness, he as gone into the home with his wife as he can not look after her on his own, they do not want to be separated. I am sure you will be able to get respite.
