Just been listening to money box and they mentioned an ordinary power of attorney .

It was in response to someone saying their PWD was being subjected to scams while they waited 5 months for the poa to be processed.

An ordinary power of attorney can be used as soon as it is signed.

I'd not heard of it before and thought it might be useful to some

And it does not last if the donor looses capacity, it becomes invalid.
