We've talked about her finances and she is saying that she is happy for us to take a lead on things. I think she is very frightened to realise how much money she is giving away so it will be a relief for her.
I just hope she doesn't change her mind.
My other concern is that this guy could easily turn her against us if he tries. That could change things significantly.
Yes I can see how that is a real concern but just keeping reassuring her very kindly and gently...she obviously trusts you totally in asking you to be her attorney... until and after you get poa how you will be helping her to keep her money safe and spend it on things that will be of benefit to her and her comfort and nobody else's and hopefully the neighbour situation doesn't arise don't worry about it until or if it happens...you know you are only thinking of your cousins best interests.
