Mum with demnetia

Evening all
Ok so im the daugher of my mother with dementia my father is her carer ( 82 years old) He is struggling big time. i have a disablity and claim pip. i have a spare room which i pay bedroom tax. Can my mum come and stay over for the occasional stay without this affecting my benefits. And would i be excempt from the bedroom tax for giving my dad some respite time as and when required. thank you please can anyone help me on this.

Hi @Joylene, I would suggest a call to the Citizens Advice, they are really helpful in these instances. Although I am sure someone will be on here with some sound advice too.
