Brilliant idea for a thread...
1. I posted for the first time here and got some really good advice.
2. I have a brand new gorgeous baby nephew and Grandpa remembered his name an hour after he was told.
3. I started sorting out something at work that I've been dreading.

The sun has been out at last!
Got plenty of work done in time for a deadline tomorrow,
I have just had a really good laugh at one of the posts here - it was meant to be funny I hasten to say

I can't think of three separate things today, but I spent three lovely, stress-busting, head-emptying hours working in the garden this afternoon - does that count?!
PJ slept right through till 6.30 this morning! Minor miracle.
Spent time with a young friend I've not seen for ages and ages.
Took myself for a lovely walk in a wood full of bluebells and wild garlic. Wish I could capture the smell of both but took lots of pics.

1. My grandchildren called before school this morning and had tea and toast with me (love them to bits!)
2. Went to see mum and even though she was very sleepy today I am glad that her recent aggression seems to have subsided (love her to bits too!)
3. Lovely evening so went for a ride on my mobility scooter up on the moors. The scenery is lovely here and it is so tranquil.

The Sun has been shining and I was able to take Allen and Grandson for a walk,
Sorted the plant pots out for when my new greenhouse comes,
Allen happily went in the shower, the bottom of his back had broken down last week but I have been careful with it and washed and creamed it all the time and it looks well on the way to healing

Okay so today was pretty awful. My gran got taken off by ambulance at 3 in the morning with a major abdo bleed. Mum has been with her in hospital all day.
Positives
1. My brother is home for the weekend.
2. As terrible as this is to say this is the first respite we've had in 3 years
3. I've just re-started a diet and am doing ok with it today- went for a run and ate well

1. A girl fom the village who is in a wheelchair called round today for the first time with her new puppy
2. I went into town on the bus on my own and ordered my new glasses and sunglasses
3. I was able to help a friend out who's internet has gone down

1) 4 year old grandson was watching a TV programme where they made sandwiches , he said "please can i have a sandwich, I said "I havn't any bread " "he said it's ok I don't want bread just a sandwich"
2)Allen was at day centre so had a day alone with grandson playing outside and then playing trains inside,
3) Made a lovely salad for tea,

Bought two silver obelisks for the garden from Wilkinsons for only six pounds each - bargain!
Teenage daughter is happy today, which makes me happy.

Son on third day of new job and loving it
New builder came round and looked at damp in wall; said we don't need pointing/rendering done(as first builder had said) and it will be a lot cheaper(hurrah!)
Managed training run for race for Life without collapsing in heap.
And it's sunny...which I know is four but makes life so much better!

Elder son rang this morning and we talked for nearly an hour. Rare treat.
Alzheimer's Soc carer came for a couple of hours this afternoon so had a loooong bath with a book and washed my hair. Luxury. Normally a VERY quick shower.

Saw my grandaughters wedding photos which included my husband and self dancing.
Grandson and grandaughter took us for run in the car and we did some shopping
My third positive---beautiful sunny days allowing us to enjoy walks to the park and to the local beach.
