Jury Service

I have just been called for jury service. Has anyone else had this request and if so did they manage to get an exemption, I care fulltime for my mom, along with my sister who also has health problems. Mom has had alzheimer's since 2011 (she is 91 this year) and has other medical issues. She does not like anyone other than us looking after her as she gets very confused.
and it does need two of us to look after her as she is disabled and needs help with personal hygiene etc.

If you are a full-time carer, that is an accepted

As said full time carers are eligible for an exemption or delay of jury service, if you're in receipt of carers allowance I would think that's pretty good proof, or mum gets attendence allowance too might count for something. K
