Joining the Alzheimer’s Society Campaigner Community.

Our campaigners are a truly vital part of the work we do and play an important role in achieving change for people living with dementia. Whether that's signing open letters to senior politicians, engaging with political figures at events, or emailing local decision-makers across England, Wales and Northern Ireland– their voice, experience and support is central to our work.

Whether you have a personal connection to dementia, or you want to stand with those who do, we would love for you to become part of our campaigner community.

Our current campaign focuses are making dementia a political priority by, improving diagnosis, upholding commitments of social care and increasing funding and participation in dementia research. For more information on this, click here.

If you would like to be regularly updated on our campaigns and opportunities to get involved, you can sign up to receive our campaigner emails here.

People drawing upon social care must be part of conversations on how the Government improves the social care workforce.

That’s why we are encouraging people with lived experience of dementia to contribute to the Department of Health and Social Care’s call for evidence on a new care workforce pathway, to share your views on whether you think it will help improve quality of care.

Share your thoughts today:
