Hi, my dad has Alzheimers, we noticed a good few years ago things starting to happen but he was officially diagnosed about a year ago. I've joined this group to try and help my mum as she is his carer and I live a few hours away.

Hello @Mishmish and welcome to this friendly and supportive forum.

I am sorry to read about your Dad and his diagnosis. It's tough for sure on you and your Mum, even if you were half expecting it.

Do please have a good look around the forums and ask any particular questions you may like to. You will always find sound advice, good suggestions and understanding from members that really do want to help and share experience.
This is also a good place to have a bit of a rant if and when you need to. It can help sometimes, just putting things down on here as to how you are feeling. Take care
