Normal day, nothing exceptional. Dinner tonight:
Me: Did you realise it was my Daughter-in-laws birthday today. No response:
I sent her a birthday card and a cheque from us. No response.

She says she is going to buy herself a new handbag.

Lionel replies............"Shaw"..me, what do you mean.

"Ernest, im[portence of being Ernest"stupid woman.

II think that put me in my place...A Handbag../;...everyone knows that one.

I realise he hasn't lost it yet...
