Hi everyone, just thought I would share this with you:
Normal day, nothing exceptional. Dinner tonight:
Me: Did you realise it was my Daughter-in-laws birthday today. No response:
I sent her a birthday card and a cheque from us. No response.

She says she is going to buy herself a new handbag.

Lionel replies............"Shaw"..me, what do you mean.

"Ernest, im[portence of being Ernest"stupid woman.

II think that put me in my place...A Handbag../;...everyone knows that one.

I realise he hasn't lost it yet...
    Love Connie

    Hi Connie

    how lovely!

Jan's favourite impression and the only one she did was of Edith Evans doing the "A handbag?!!!" line from the play.

Every time I hear [of] it I think of her, as she was.
