Hello @Stephanie Owen and welcome to this friendly and supportive forum. There is a wealth of shared experience of dementia to be found here so I am glad you have found us.

I am sorry to read about your Dad. It's tough for sure. With late stage dementia, it can be very distressing to see a loved one decline. Not sure with what you have said so far, how best to advise. Do let us know a bit more about your and your Dad's particular circumstances if you are happy to, so that members can more readily give helpful suggestions and advice.

You will find bags of understanding here, and do use the forum when you need to let off a bit of steam.
