Concerns about dad

Hi,

I have concerns about my Dad, he seems to have problems with short term memory, has mood swings, flips out for no reason, is obsessively tidying up, his personality has changed and out of character for him. He is adamant that he doesn't have a problem. I'm not sure what to do. Any suggestions?

Hi @Alister , it is so hard when we can see signs that something is up but lived ones are either in denial or have no sense that they have changed. There are many reasons why a persons short term memory could be getting worse and for that reason a trip to the GP to rule our infection or other physical or psychological reasons is a good idea. May be a bit of reverse psychology would work by asking your dad to prove you wrong by letting the GP see him.
