We're in trouble with the tuk tuk drivers.
Like UK taxi ranks they take their fares in turn so when we wanted our usual driver , who was not the first in line, another driver was cross.
When I told him it was our choice he said we had no choice . We decided to walk and then they called us back and allowed our regular driver to take our fare.
I feel a bit mean because they all have a living to earn but this driver has been so good we both feel comfortable with him.
I wanted to buy a sari for my middle granddaughter Lucy. He took us to the most wonderful street absolutely full of sari and indian outfit shops.
We then went to look for something for Helen but she can tell you herself.
On the way back I commiserated with the driver and said I was sorry his co drivers were cross with him. I explained now we knew him we felt more comfortable and I did understand the queue system. He shrugged. He agreed the other drivers were cross but still agreed to pick us up tomorrow.
