Hi my name is Sharon, i am 55 and i am a Carer for my mum who has Multiple Myeloma (Cancer of the bone marrow) and was diagnosed with Vascular Dementia one month ago. Myself and my mums friends had noticed changes in my mum late last year so the diagnosis was not a surprise. Mum seems to have lost interest in everything, she loved reading, doing jigsaws and she has no motivation. Conversation is non existent and her appetite has decreased rapidly. Feeling quite overwhelmed with it all
