Sorry I’m just take, take, take at the minute.

How are others coping with other relatives poking their nose into affairs, thinking they know better and generally undermining me?

Can I get the care home to limit information they give out in respect of my in laws? Apparently, there’s nothing wrong with him!!!

I’m aware I can’t stop them visiting (although I don’t know what lies are being told when I’m not there). Doesn’t really matter he would forget the next day anyway but that’s not the point.

This relative brings along someone (The family doesn’t know!) unrelated to the family!

When does it become a safeguarding issue? Can it?

I’ve bought my big girls pants but don’t know how to use them. I’m just slowly sinking!

xx

Hello @Lookingafter

I would have a talk with the care home manager and ask what their policy is re disclosing information / data protection to other family members and non family visitors, especially if there is disagreement in the family.
