Took MIL to fracture clinic today, they X-rayed her shoulder & consultant was happy with progress so far. He said it was a stable fracture & that she won't damage it further by using it. He said most people end up with an extremely swollen & bruised elbow as that is (should be) the lowest point because she has been using hers a bit that is why hers has progressed down to her hand. She had managed to break her cuff again so they gave us 2 new ones.
Thanks Lindy, I did as you suggested, gave a note to the nurse & asked her to pass it to the doctor, that way they both got to read it & responded as you would expect & hope.
