over 2 years ago, the mental health nurse came to the house to see my husband as he was getting very forgetful
he had the usual memory tests, then he had a brain scan, which showed early stages of alzheimers, he's been taking Donepezil since then and been fine...short term memory is getting worse, but can still wash and dress himself. Today was his yearly check, same type of questions,,,,,and the nurse was very pleased....he got the same score as 2 years ago, so he's still in early stage.
I know things can change quickly, but it was nice to hear ..
