I have watched the slow death of the strongest person I have ever known. Part of me is ready to see it over, then the other part feels guilt for wanting it to be over.
My dad died when I was 12 after being ill for around 2 years prior. I am now 54, my mother has been so influential and such a source of strength, grace and comfort to me..it is horrible to watch this person fade away.
