Morning everybody,

Hope this finds you all ok and coping.

Some of you might recall that Mum went into a care home in March, after a fall at home, and the realisation that I probably couldn't care for her at home any more.

Well she appears settled, from her body language anyway. Her speech is practically zero. Unintelligible words with occasional real word appearing. The staff, on the whole, seem kind and caring ; they even video-ed Mum walking with her frame to show me, when I visited.

But I'm still racked with guilt and sadness. But that seems to be part and parcel of this disease.

Love to all x

Hi Ceroc, It sounds like you found a kind and caring place for Mum. I don't know if the the feeling of failure ever really goes......I know it should, after all you didn't actually fail you know.;) You didn't stop caring, you sought extra help which happens to be away from home. So, enjoy your visits and be glad that Mum is content.x.x.:)
