I have now completed the MOOC University of Tasmania course on Understanding Dementia.
MOOC stands for Massive Open Online Course offered free by the Wicking Dementia Research and Education Centre.
As a Carer, I felt a great deal, that I was responsible in some way, for my wife's Alzheimer's illness. I knew very little about the disease except for some of the up and coming problems that I should expect.
So to learn more I signed up for this online course and am so glad that I did. The talks by the professors and details given were clear and concise. And to know and hear that research is being done worldwide is so uplifting.
Thousands have taken advantage of this so please consider doing it ASAP.
And I found it better than writing morbid poetry that I had been doing.
