Unbelievably the safeguarding “report” arrived yesterday - I’ve registered a complaint

How the safeguarding investigatorcould state that the home management weren’t to blame- as Lack of communication from us, the GP, NHS OT & Dietitian, A&E hospital DRs, Care home staff were the issue!!

unbelieveable as written proof of the communication is available & the blatant lies & replies from management available- if only safeguarding had ever wanted to look at this evidence when repeatedly offered to them.

When will the system ever protect those most vulnerable?

So today was a little more positive in being a voice for dementia care.
?
pushing for answers about safeguarding processes & answers as to lack of communication etc with care providers

I’m happy to be a little piece in a big big puzzle.

it feels as if all that we went through trying to get appropriate care for Dad might not have been for nothing ... little glimmer of hope but a long road to travel yet.
