It may well clear! Infection and/or the move may well be the reason for your mum’s increased confusion (certainly infections play havoc). With my mum, you never knew how things were going to be on a given day and you just had to go with the flow.
Thanks Lemonbalm. It's good to hear from someone who has passed along this path already. Managed to take Mum out today for her first hair cut in 9 months and then a meal out. Just stuff that used to be normal. But noticed that her mobility has also deteriorated and she had huge problems negotiating how to sit down. Also she wasn't coping very well with using a knife and fork and she insisted she had eaten her food when it sat almost untouched in front of her. Just all part of the general downturn.
