I'm new here though I have been reading the forum for some months. Both my parents have dementia. Mum is now in a home and Dad lives with me.Mum has VD and is in mid to late stage I think. Dad has mixed dementia. He can function quite well with my help .I will post more another time but thank you to all those who post you can't know how much your messages have helped me over the past months.

Hi Rosie, glad you've introduced yourself.

I think most of us "lurk" for a bit before introducing ourselves or asking a question. Like you I found TP of enormous help. TP helped me initially in coming to terms with the intrusion of this horrible disease into my Mum's future and our family life.
