Respite return

Mum going into respite wed shes been before short break, this time its a fortnight die to school hols ( we had a losy holiday in august when i toom her with us away) plus having to change the fire so no central heating. What roughly can i expect, should i take a day off work after she comes back, for her to settle in. shes normally in the house on her own with a carer coming in for an hour whilst im in work, any advice please to help with the transition back home.

Perhaps you can take half a day off (the first half) and go into work afterwards if she seems OK?
