Practical advice for incontinence please

My mum is now urine incontinent. She wears a pad all the time but overnight it's just not enough to cope with the amount of liquid. Has anyone got any opinions about the best thing to use. What are the pants like - washable versus disposable etc etc. Are they any better at the job?

well know chemist' own brand pull ups , lined with their own brand pad.
