Thanks everyone :) unfortunately when I went to see him this evening I couldn't tell him that so many people were thinking of him as he just wasn't well enough or 'with it' if you know what I mean. It really means a lot to have this support though. Thank you

I am not much of a prayer but my mum still has a hotline to God after many years of loyal service. I'll ask her to remember you and your Dad in her prayers.

Thinking of you.

Thank you much everyone, it really means a lot. Dad is now home and physically fine. he's very confused though and seems to have deteriorated in terms of his dementia - can this happen after having a traumatic experience? He seems to think he's been in prison not hospital!

It can WGA. Unfortunately, just the moving around, loss of familiar routine, create a lot of confusion and upset. But hopefully, your father will recover now that he is surrounded by those things that are most familiar to him and that comfort him. A prayer for you all from me too.
