Hi, Can anyone advise please, I recently had to put my mother and her partner into a care home, I am in the processing of selling her home to fund their care. What happens please if my mother dies whilst in the care home, her dementia is rapidly progressing, she didnt recognise her grandson last week. Her will states her money goes to my sister and I, but would it all go to fund her partner in the care home, or would it be 50% to be retained for his care fees? Any advice please would really help.

He's been with my mum for 25 years. Thank you for advising that I don't think my mums partner would question the will as the house my father bought for my mother when he was alive.
