My husband recently has been diagnosed with Alzheimers. He is convinced that steak is one of the reasons he has Alzheimers, although over many years we ate little. He also tried to buy tablets online, that said they would help with his condition. He is taking 10mg of Donepezil, don't think they have made a great deal of difference. We seem to be always disagreeing on most things, he will not wear his hearing aids therefore misses conversations. We are waiting from DVLA about his driving licence, the doctor told him not to drive as soon as he was diagnosed. I have a two sisters, that keep me going and are good listeners

Welcome @The golfer

The time following diagnosis is a period of enormous adjustment for both you and your husband. You will probably be coming at it from different directions which is one of the reasons I think there is often conflict.

I hope you will find this a safe place where you can off load and share with others in similar situations.
