New and scared

Hello all my mother is newly diagnosed in hospital after being taken in because of violent hallucinations. Very complicated relationship with her and I have looked after her 18 years already. I just wish the problem would go away. I want to give up and walk away but I live with her and cannot afford to get out. Relationship never good now much worse. I knew something was wrong with her a long time ago but the doctor didn't listen. I now want to walk away
