What happens when a 3rd LPA disagree with 1 and 2 it’s says jointly and severally in document can 1 and 2 go ahead with a decision without the 3rd attorney
I'm not sure about this but people like @nitram generally know about these things. There are 3 LPA and it’s jointly and severely on document can attorneys 1 and 2 make a decision without the need for attorney 3 to agree we want to put a funeral plan in place purely financial golden chartered so there is money set aside for funeral and attorney 3 is not in agreement no reason given can we go ahead anyway nothing in will about funeral
ThanksWith Joint and Several any attorney has power to take an action, if another attorney disagrees and discussion does not result in agreement the only redress the other attorney has is to formally inform the OPG that the action is factually not in the donor's best interests.
If taking out a prepaid funeral plan bear in mind that not all funeral directors accept all plans and not all plan providers will work with all funeral directors. Plans are an acceptable means of reducing capital.
