Is this depravation of assets?

A family member has put their parent in a care home.
Nothing wrong with that.
But instead of selling the home to fund the care he has put his son in there. He pays £350 a month but the property should bring in around £1200.
The son’s mother only gave one of her two children POA.
There is currently a deferred charge on the care fees.

Anyone had similar?

Would the OPG investigate?

It's certainly not doing things in the PWD s interest , which is what the attorney is supposed to do!

if there is a defered charge, it probably wont make a lot of difference to OPG . but yes, he should really pay market rent
