How many carers caring for someone with dementia?

Can anyone help me with this?

I'm writing up some research and had noted this down to include in the write up: "The majority of male carers over the age of 65 are looking after their wives or partners who have a dementia". However, stupidly I forgot to note the reference.

Here is the context for this statement: In the UK, over the age of 65, men are more likely to be caring for someone in their own home than women (Census 2001). I think that most of these carers are caring for someone with dementia, but I am not sure and need to reference this.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Many thanks
