How long........

.....does the suffering last?
The pain gnaw at our stomachs?
The ache in our hearts?

How do we carry on when our world is falling apart?
When will our loved ones be at peace?
...and leave us with broken hearts?

No one deserves to suffer
Least of all our Partners, Mum or Dad
Not knowing when the end will come makes me very sad.

Yes, it is awful wondering how long it is going to go on and on for and how much worse it's going to get too. We just don't know and can only take it one day at a time x You are right, no-one deserves to suffer. Period.

You have just posted how I have been feeling for the last two years mum has had Alzheimer's for six years and I ask myself how much longer will she have to suffer this torment hugs to you xx
