A warm welcome to Dementia Support Forum @Woody with ted. This is a very friend and supportive forum and you'll always find someone to listen and point you in the right direction for help?
My mum and my mother in law both had vascular dementia. For my mum my main worry at first was not the loss of memory as the loss of logical thinking and empathy. My mother-in-law retained the empathy, and for a long time managed well with others doing the things, such as managing money, that she could no longer do.
Do you have anything in particular that is worrying you at the moment?
