I am writing a book on Alzheimer’s, aimed at people who have been recently diagnosed, as well as their carers. The book aims to be an essential guide to Alzheimer’s answering all sorts of questions people may have, and is due out 1 October this year.
I am looking to include the views and experiences of people who have lived with the disease for a while. How has it changed your life? Do you feel that relationships with family has changed? How? Do you feel that you have less freedom?
Ideally I would like to speak to people with Alzheimer’s, but also any carers out there. If anyone is interested, could they PM me. I am quite happy for written contributions – say about 200 words total, and if I have to edit it down a bit, I am more than happy to send you a copy of what will be included and am more than happy to make contributions anonymous, should you wish.
